With a little patience, you can remove the annoying discomfort in a simple, natural way without side effects. At the same time, these remedies can be used to prevent a renewed fungal disease.

Tea tree oil – home remedy for fungal diseases

Essential tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) is obtained from the leaves of the Australian tea tree  and it is one of the most widely used oils.

It is well known and loved for its antiseptic, antiviral and antifungal effects,  which are excellent for various skin problems. Tea tree oil can be used externally.

This oil is very strong and must therefore be used with caution, as it can otherwise cause skin or mucous membrane irritation (genital area, mouth, eyes, etc.).

You can apply a drop directly to the area to be treated or mix it with a little coconut oil, especially when it comes to larger areas. Coconut oil is very gentle and also works against fungi.

Tea tree oil, which is relatively inexpensive and easily available in health food stores or pharmacies,  can also be used, for example, for better wound healing, against lice or insects and as a cleaning agent.

Garlic is another home remedy for fungal infections

This white tuber is an excellent remedy for a variety of health problems. Almost everyone has garlic in their kitchen, which is not only very popular for a wide variety of dishes but also has numerous other uses.

We recommend eating garlic daily because it helps prevent cardiovascular diseases, promotes blood circulation, strengthens the immune system and helps to cleanse the organism.

In the case of a fungal disease, apply garlic directly to the affected area; the valuable allicin will help excellently.

If it is a small area, you can simply put a slice of garlic on top and fix it with adhesive plaster. As soon as the garlic no longer smells, simply put on a new slice.

Garlic oil can also be prepared if a larger area is affected  To do this, press or crush five cloves of garlic and then cover with plenty of olive oil.

This mixture is left to steep for a week. Then strain the garlic and apply the oil to the affected areas twice a day.

Garlic oil is also available ready-made, mostly in capsule form for those people who cannot tolerate raw garlic. Consumption of garlic helps against fungal diseases from within.
