You can get a pack of these seeds in any drugstore or supermarket for less than one euro. With it you can conjure up liters of hair conditioner and hair gel with flaxseed .

How it works? Very easily! We’ll explain it to you!

For which hair is hair conditioner and hair gel with flaxseed suitable?

The flaxseed hair conditioner is particularly suitable for fine hair, because it makes it look stronger and more grippy.

If you have curly hair, the hair will bounce better and will not hang out – even after several days!

The flaxseed hair gel is suitable for all hair types. It has no chemical or harmful ingredients and, like the conditioner, really only consists of flaxseed and water.

Neither conditioner nor flaxseed hair gel smells strange.

On the contrary: the products dry odorless – in great contrast to industrially manufactured products, which often smell so strong that other scents such as perfume or body lotion are often masked.

Try it out, here are the recipes!

Well-groomed hair with flaxseed

Flaxseed hair conditioner recipe

3 tbsp flaxseed

1 liter of water

First pour the boiling water over the flax seeds, then stir vigorously and let the mixture stand overnight. The next morning, pour the mixture through a sieve and collect the flaxseed water.

You can sprinkle the swollen flaxseed over your muesli or use it in your breakfast smoothie. The hair conditioner is already done!

Simply put over your hair after shampooing, do not wash out and dry as usual.

The flaxseed water is a bit slimy, but it is precisely this consistency that ensures that your hair becomes more voluminous and grippy and that your curls bounce better.

This flaxseed water does not have a long shelf life, but you can freeze it and thaw it again if necessary.

For example, put it in the bathroom overnight to defrost it when you want to wash your hair the next morning.

Recipe hair gel with flaxseed

50g flaxseed

400ml water

First soak the flaxseeds in the water overnight. The next day you have to bring the mixture to the boil, stirring constantly, and then let it simmer until a gel forms.

If you like the consistency, you can take the saucepan off the heat and then let the gel cool down. Also, don’t forget to stir occasionally so that no skin forms!

If you forgot, don’t worry, you can simply remove the skin with a spoon. Strain the cooled gel through a sieve to remove the flaxseed. Finished!

The gel provides elastic hold. That is why it is particularly suitable for lively hairstyles or for working out individual strands or curls.

The shelf life in the refrigerator is limited, but you can easily freeze the gel in the ice cube tray (or ice cube bag) and briefly defrost it in the microwave before doing your hair every morning.

Or let the gel ice cube thaw in a shot glass (or other small vessel) in the bathroom the evening before, so that it is ready in the morning. It couldn’t be more natural!
