  • 3 bananas
  • 200 ml of milk
  • 400 g of flour
  • a pinch of baking soda

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Prepare a loaf pan by greasing it and dusting it with flour.
  3. Then mix the eggs with the sugar well until the mixture takes on a whitish color.
  4. Add the oil and milk and mix well.
  5. Peel three bananas and puree them with a fork.
  6. Now you put the bananas in the batter and mix everything well.
  7. Add the vanilla extract to the batter and stir.
  8. Sieve the flour with baking soda and cinnamon powder and add to the batter. Do not stir too much so that the cake does not get too dry after baking.
  9. Then bake for about half an hour. You can do the stick test: When the dough no longer sticks to the stick, the cake is ready.

In this recipe, we use seeds and nuts in addition to nutritious bananas. We chose sunflower seeds and flax seeds, but you can also use other seeds and nuts. So that the cake contains more fiber, we use whole wheat flour in this recipe.

  • 150 ml of olive oil or sunflower oil 
  • 150 g of brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 100 g nuts
  • 100 ml milk
  • 350 g whole wheat flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Flax seeds and sunflower seeds (to taste)
  • Oatmeal (to taste)

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Mash the bananas with a fork and place in a bowl.
  3. Then add the milk and stir everything well.
  4. Beat the eggs in another bowl and add the oil and sugar. Mix until you get a homogeneous mass that increases in volume.
  5. Now add the banana-milk mixture. Mix well.
  6. Sift the flour and baking powder and add to the batter. Mix everything well.
  7. Chop the nuts and add them to the batter.
  8. Grease the cake tin and dust it with flour. Then fill with the batter.
  9. Finally, sprinkle the seeds and oatmeal on top of the cake.

  • 2 cups of spelled flour
  • 75 g desiccated coconut
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • a pinch of salt
  • 110 ml almond milk
  • 56 ml of extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 bananas
  • 3 carrots
  • 80 g nuts

preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Grate the carrots and chop the bananas with a fork.
  3. Sieve flour, baking powder and baking soda with a pinch of salt.
  4. Mix the oil, milk and bananas well with the dry ingredients.
  5. Then add the carrots and desiccated coconut.
  6. Prepare a loaf pan (grease and dust with flour) and then fill it with this batter.
  7. Bake for about 45 minutes. Use the chopstick sample to test whether the banana bread is ready.
