We absorb all substances contained in shampoos, conditioners, masks, hair dyes etc. through the scalp. As a result, many of these substances have a harmful effect on our health.

Some also complain of allergic reactions, so it is advisable to do an allergy test before using a new product. It is always better to be patient to ensure that the new product does not cause any undesirable reactions.

What is a hair conditioner?

A hair conditioner is a product that should be used after every hair wash in order to moisturize the hair, give it suppleness and guarantee that it is easier to comb. Conditioners should only be used after using a shampoo.

We are now going to introduce you to five natural hair conditioners that you can easily prepare at home.

Conditioner number 1

The first hair conditioner that we introduce to you is a honey- based conditioner .

Honey for hair conditioners

ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of natural honey
  • 1 tablespoon of whey
  • 1 tablespoon of natural flour

preparation

Put 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a bowl and then add 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 tablespoon of whey. Mix the ingredients well and heat the porridge in the microwave for 30-60 seconds. To make the consistency thicker, add about 1 tablespoon of flour and stir everything well again.

Now you can distribute the lukewarm mass on your hair and leave it on for about 20 minutes. After that, you can rinse your hair as usual.

Conditioner number 2

The main ingredient in these conditioners is mint.

Mint for hair conditioners

Boil two cups of water with 2 tea bags of mint tea. Let the tea cool and shampoo your hair as usual. Then rinse your hair with the cool tea.

The result is a refreshing feeling and healthier hair.

Conditioner number 3

Nutritious hair conditioner

This conditioner is recommended for dry and damaged hair. It should not be used on oily hair.

You will need an egg yolk, baby oil, and half a cup of water.

preparation

Stir the egg yolks until they become frothy, then gradually add the baby oil and finally the water. The components should be added with constant stirring.

Spread the finished hair conditioner on your hair and massage it in gently so that the product can work properly. Then rinse your hair with lukewarm water as usual.

Conditioner number 4

Based on yoghurt, honey and egg yolk.

In a bowl, mix 1 cup of yogurt, 2 teaspoons of honey and 1 egg yolk. Once the mixture has taken on the consistency of a smooth paste, you can apply it to your hair. Then rinse as usual.

Conditioner number 5

This hair conditioner is apple cider vinegar based.

Apple cider vinegar for hair conditioners

Mix 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water. Pour the mixture on your hair and rinse off as you normally would after using.

Conditioners should only be massaged into lengths of hair. Avoid applying it to the roots of the hair, especially if the conditioner contains oil as the main component.

Important

The hair needs some time to adapt to the natural products, which means that you will initially notice the less pleasant effects of the natural hair conditioner. However, this is a normal reaction of the hair, it is a detoxification phase in which the hair can appear oily than normal and even dandruff can develop. When this phase is over, you will soon see how much stronger and healthier your hair is.
