But these new media not only have advantages, on the contrary, they are  also associated with harmful consequences.

In some countries, such as England, France or Sweden, WLAN connections have already been removed from schools, libraries and other public spaces.

In doing so, they reduce risks and they use other  electrical connections with which one can benefit from the Internet. 

What measures can be taken to reduce the negative effects of WLAN?

With the aim of reducing the negative consequences of this technology as much as possible, the  following measures can be taken:

  • Turn off the router during the night or when you don’t need it.
  • If the device is in the kitchen or bedroom, you should move it to a place that you will not use as often as possible.
  • A cable connection should preferably be used, also for telephones. Cordless phones are far more convenient, but their radiation also has negative health effects.
  • Only use cell phones and computers for a limited period of time and, if possible, not in the bedroom.
  • Enjoy more time in the open air, get enough exercise and read traditionally paper rather than digital media.

What’s the future like?

As yet there is no permanent and trustworthy facility or control system. So we know when we are exposed to the dangers of radiation.

The electromagnetic smog is increasing in great strides. However, it is impossible to estimate what levels we will be able to achieve in a few years.

In countries like Japan and the United States, research is already being carried out on the technology for cell phones that do not require electromagnetic waves.

It is estimated that about 30 years have passed before warning of the negative health effects of these devices.

You shouldn’t ignore excessive radiation, even if it seems like there is little that can be done about it. But everyone can take their own steps to reduce the effects as much as possible.

As consumers and users of these new technologies, we should be  careful and use the devices responsibly. While these are very useful for many things, they can have negative health effects.
